On the nose, there are notes of quince, peach, lime and grapefruit.
The palate is soft and approachable. Peach, lime and honeysuckle combine with lactic tones to give inviting fruit sweetness. There are savoury notes of cashew and almond meal with subtle hints of toasted oak and spice. Elegant with dense textural element and a generous finish.
Barrel fermented in French oak, 10 months on lees. 600 bottles produced (single barrel).
The wine shall further improve 3 – 5 years from vintage.
Drink this wine with rich and hearty dishes such as roast pork (with crackling), pickled onions and horseradish sauce, served with winter roasted vegetables or classic roast chicken
