2023 Siwa Pinot Noir

Another excellent representation of Yarra Valley Pinot Noir, the 2023 Siwa Pinot Noir was grown and made at the Kellybrook home vineyard, Siwa, in Wonga Park.

The wine has a deep, rich, ruby appearance with aromas of cherry, rhubarb, cranberry, mushroom and negroni spice. The palate is medium to full bodied with flavours that reflect the cascade of aroma in the glass. A delicious mouthful with a plump mid palate, easy velvety tannins and plenty of palate length that will ensure optimal drinking in a 2 to 6 year window.

"From the home vineyard in Wonga Park – first planted in '75 – in suburban outer Melbourne. Made with 25% whole bunches. Bright crimson, this exudes charm with its focused aromas of red and black fruits, crushed flowers and hints of Sichuan pepper and spice. It's plushly fruited and well balanced and the tannins, which are velvety and ripe, bode well for the wine's future. Hard to split this and the different but equally good Full Moon Pinot."
