"From the home vineyard in Wonga Park, first planted in '75, in suburban outer Melbourne. Made with partial whole bunches in one-tonne pots. With its extra concentration and complexity, this is my pick of Kellybrook's very good pinots in '24. A medium, bright ruby red with aromas of brambly red fruits, dried rose petals and juniper berry. The medium-bodied palate has excellent mouthfeel and depth of fruit, while the tannins are plush and persistent. A wine to savour and drink over the next six to eight years, if not longer."
