"From the Full Moon vineyard in Gladysdale and planted in '01. A light, bright crimson. Perfumed and pure with its aromas of wild strawberry, rose petal and gentle spice. Medium bodied, this persistent and gently structured wine is good now but will become more complex and silkier over the next four to six years. I like this a lot."

"From the home vineyard in Wonga Park – first planted in '75 – in suburban outer Melbourne. Made with 25% whole bunches. Bright crimson, this exudes charm with its focused aromas of red and black fruits, crushed flowers and hints of Sichuan pepper and spice. It's plushly fruited and well balanced and the tannins, which are velvety and ripe, bode well for the wine's future. Hard to split this and the different but equally good Full Moon Pinot."
