We submitted seven wines for review in the Halliday Wine Companion 2025 awards and the results are exciting! Not only were the ratings excellent, we were rated as a 5 star winery.

An outstanding rating of 96 points was awarded to our Willowlake Pinot Noir 2022. This wine also won a Gold Medal and Trophy for the Best Small Batch Red Wine in Show in the Yarra Valley Wine Show in 2023, and was rated 95 points by The Wine Front, .

Our Edenesque Pinot 2022 was rated 95 points. It's a fantastic result for this wine which also won a Gold Medal in the Yarra Valley Wine Show last year.

2022 was clearly a great year for our Pinots! The crops were small but the flavours were very concentrated. The Siwa Chardonnay 2022 also rated extremely well with 94 points.

Willowlake Pinot Noir 2022 ~ 96 points

"Sourced from the highest point of the Willowlake vineyard in Gladysdale; 15% whole bunches, matured in French oak (25% new). A lively, bright crimson. Lovely purity of fruit and perfume. Crushed strawberries, freshly picked summer cherries, bright florals and a hint of undergrowth can all be found. Medium bodied, this impeccably balanced wine is a joy to drink now, with silky, persistent tannins ensuring it will still be great five to seven years from now, too."  Philip Rich

Edenesque Pinot Noir 2022 ~ 95 points

"A blend of fruit from the home block at Wonga Park and the Willowlake Vineyard in Gladysdale. A light, bright crimson. A lovely core of freshly picked strawberries and raspberries that sit alongside some well-judged, whole-bunch-derived rosebush aromas. There's excellent depth on the compact and still tightly wound palate, and I reckon this'll be a total joy to drink in about six or so months and once it opens up a little."  Philip Rich

Siwa Chardonnay 2022 ~ 94 points

"Whole-bunch pressed to a single, 1-year-old French puncheon where it went through a natural mlf. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. A subtle wine with its scents of peach skin, orange blossom and hazelnuts. The palate is still quite tightly wound, but it's saline and nicely persistent, too." Philip Rich

Edenesque Chardonnay 2023 ~ 93 points

"A blend of fruit from Wonga Park and Gladysdale, barrel fermented in French puncheons and hogsheads with the majority going through mlf. A light, bright, green gold. A bright bouquet with orchard fruits, Mirabelle plum and a little honeysuckle. The palate is delicate, fresh and gently saline. An elegant wine and better than last year's Edenesque, which I remarked was well made and well priced. This one is a bargain." Philip Rich
