All wines in the pack are made and grown onsite at the home vineyard (Siwa) in Wonga Park. There are multiple plantings of each variety on the vineyard, each block having unique characteristics.
2 BOTTLES SIWA PINOT NOIR 2021
The appearance is a crimson red. Aromas of black cherry, stewed strawberry with spices such as clove and cinnamon are imminently apparent.
The palate is a gracious mix of freshness and structure. More strawberry and cherry with watermelon notes are present. There are savoury/umami notes, dried twiggy bark and field mushrooms with more brown spice notes including some white pepper. Tannins are firm and building, yet powdery. A cocoa powder note combines with the vanillin-sweetness to take the wine down a pleasant savoury finish.
This structured style of Pinot Noir will be best enjoyed 2 – 7 years after vintage, with a high potential to age further.

2 BOTTLES ESTATE RESERVE CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2019
The grapes were handpicked, and this single batch was de-stemmed into a small fermenter with daily pump overs. 9 months maturation in French oak.
The appearance is a vivid ruby. On the nose, there are cassis, dark cherry, plum and mint notes. The oak shows through with vanillin and mahogany leading into pine needle and choc-mint aromas.
The palate is lively where wild red berry and cassis fruit tones are evident. Choc-mint and dried herb develop around the fruit notes to provide length and generosity. These characters intertwine with building powdery tannins to create complexity around a wonderful a cassis-driven finish.
This wine would match well with with slow cooked beef brisket, steak or thyme-roasted field mushrooms served over creamy warm polenta. .
Drink 2022 – 2037. Decanting recommended. 50 dozen bottles produced | Single barrel
