The aroma shows notes of pear and poached peach with slight struck match and wet stone notes.
The palate exhibits pear, apple and melon fruit tones. There are grapefruit and lime citrus characters that blend perfectly into the acid line which is taut yet integrated. The balanced sweetness on the palate waves around the fruit and acid which leads into yeasty notes of toasted brioche.
Our 2019 Blanc de Blanc features 100% Chardonnay grapes entirely from our Wonga Park vineyard. The Kelly family has been living on our Wonga Park property in the renowned Yarra Valley for four generations. It is here that our Méthode Traditionelle Blanc de Blancs is grown, crafted, bottled and aged. The wine is handmade entirely on the Wonga Park property, a rare occurrence for modern Australian sparkling wine, particularly in small wineries such as ours.
