One of the closest of the Yarra Valley wineries to Melbourne, only 10 minutes' drive from Ringwood, Croydon and Lilydale, Kellybrook offers weddings of great individuality. It's hard to believe that so much rural charm is so close at hand.
Imagine a romantic and intimate garden ceremony followed by a personalised reception in our restaurant, featuring the vine-covered terrace that overlooks the Kellybrook vineyard. We have an lovely open fire for the cooler months and air-conditioning for the warmer months. The restaurant is suitable for weddings of up to 90 guests for a seated reception and up to 120 for a cocktail-style reception, however, it is also ideal for intimate weddings of 50 people or less.
Our staff are only too happy to show you our restaurant and gardens and discuss our wedding packages. Please make an appointment for a wedding inspection to ensure that they will be available for you. Because we operate as an a la carte restaurant, we are not able to conduct wedding inspections during the lunchtime period. You may like to book for a meal, in which case, the staff will be able to discuss weddings with you at an appropriate time (perhaps after your meal). Otherwise, wedding inspection times are available on the weekends before 12.00pm or after 4.00pm or during the week.

SEATED RECEPTION (5 hours)
Commence your reception with pre-dinner drinks and appetisers served on the terrace and in the fireroom entrance to the restaurant. This gives you a chance to capture some gorgeous shots under the oak tree, in amongst the vines and in our established gardens.
Premium quality Kellybrook wines, beer, Kelly Brothers Cider and soft drink accompany a three-course meal in our a la carte restaurant. Your guests will have a choice of two dishes for entree and main course followed by a dessert sampler plate (individual menus will be printed and placed at each place setting).** Tea and coffee are served after dessert. Our staff will then cut and bag your wedding cake, or serve it on platters with the tea and coffee (no extra charge). Kellybrook Sparkling Pinot Chardonnay is served for the wedding toast or throughout the reception depending on the beverage package chosen.
** Please note that "guests' choice" is available for parties of up to 75. For larger groups, meals will be served on an alternate basis.
Once the meal and speeches are finished, relax and enjoy the chance to dance or simply mingle further with your guests and, of course, to soak up the great atmosphere and vineyard setting.
Feel free to arrange for musicians or a DJ to provide entertainment for the reception. We also have a dancefloor.
COCKTAIL-STYLE RECEPTIONS (4 hours/may be extended)
These are a great way to celebrate in a more relaxed fashion (not that our seated receptions are usually highly formal). It is important to note that your guests will still be adequately fed at a cocktail reception (we consider the finger food to be the equivalent of a meal). Your guests will have chance to mingle and/or dance all night (or all afternoon as the case may be). This option also means there is no need to worry about what tables at which to seat your guests.
Our staff will still cut your wedding cake and either bag it or serve it on platters with coffee and tea (no extra charge). We also have the option of dessert finger food items being served.

Our prices consist of a ceremony/menu package combined with a beverage package - they all include the ceremony, food, Kellybrook wines, Kelly Brothers Sparkling Cider, beer, soft drinks, tea and coffee and the cutting and serving of your wedding cake.

Ceremonies are held under the spreading branches of a magnificent, century-old English Oak. If the weather is inclement, smaller weddings and cocktail weddings the ceremony are held in the fireroom of the restaurant. For weddings with more than 60 guests, a special area of the winery's tasting room is prepared for you.
Twenty acres of vineyards set in picturesque countryside close to the Yarra river, and beautiful gardens, make a perfect background for your truly memorable wedding photographs.
Unfortunately, we are not able to hold ceremonies in our gardens unless the reception is held at Kellybrook.

WINTER WEDDINGS
The crackle and warmth of the open fire and the soft glow of candlelight bring a lovely ambience to winter weddings in our restaurant. The garden is "sleeping", however, the oak tree looks beautiful in its reposing state. Ceremonies can be held in the restaurant or in the cellar door depending on their size. Rates for May to September are lower (and, of course, photographers, celebrants and the like are easier to secure).

There are several options for accommodation in the local area. Try Sebel Lodge (5 minutes' drive), Victoria House (10 minutes' drive), Jacqui and and John's B&B (2 minutes' drive), Warrandyte Goldfields Bed and Breakfast (10 minutes' drive - main street of Warrandyte), Bungunyah Apartments (Croydon - 10 minutes' drive), Yering Gorge Cottages (12 minutes' drive) and Comfort Inn Ringwood Lake (12 minutes' drive). Often guests will choose to stay overnight in the area and enjoy the next day enjoying the beautiful riverwalks and cafes in Warrandyte or exploring the Yarra Valley.
