Spring is now well and truly here. Having been pruned in July/August, the vines are now coming into leaf ready for flowering. The gardens are looking very appreciative of the recent rains and the oak tree is almost back in full leaf.

Phil and Sean have been hard at work in the winery with disgorging of sparkling wines and bottlings (mostly of cider - now available in six-packs). Our wines were recently awarded four bronze medals at the Ballarat Wine Show.

The restaurant continues to be busy. We have recently started to open during the week - Thursdays and Fridays for lunch - something that we have not done during the past. Many people are now taking advantage of the opportunity to come and enjoy the Kellybrook experience on a weekday. July saw two very busy Bastillle Day lunches for the past and future guests of our cottage in Belves, France. We have had fantastic feedback about these lunches.

There are many weddings coming up in the next couple of months in particular and we are also busy organising Christmas functions and other celebrations with people. Of course, there are still plenty of opportunities for casual bookings. It is wonderful to see many couples celebrating their wedding anniversaries at Kellybrook, often having been married here under the oak tree.
