COCKTAIL PARTY (finger food) - 4 hour function 
Up to 120 people. Available as a private function only - minimum spend applies (varies between $4,000 and $6,000 - please enquire).

This is a great way to have a more relaxed gathering where guests are free to mingle and to enjoy the delightful vineyard views from the terrace.
$72.00 (includes beer, wine, cider and soft drink - bar open until 30 minutes before conclusion of function). Carlton Draught, light beer, one white wine (Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc), one red wine (Cabernet Merlot), apple cider, soft drinks, non-alcoholic punch and tea and coffee.

$82.00 with two extra wines and Boags' Premium Lager /Crown Lager instead of Carlton Draught. 

Add $5.00 per person for our gold medal winning Sparkling Pinot Chardonnay to be served.

The Kelly family has been catering for group functions for over 20 years and pride themselves on fine food, imaginatively prepared, and excellent Yarra Valley wines and ciders. All the wines and ciders are grown and made on the estate. The restaurant has a beautiful garden setting and vineyard views.

SEATED FUNCTIONS
Capacity up to 90 people.

2 courses - $42.00   Entree and main course OR main course and dessert (choice of three for each). The entire group must have the same two courses.
3 courses - $52.00   Choice of three for entree and main course, dessert tasting plate for each person

December: 2 course menus not available on Saturday or Sunday.

Entreés

Chef’s Yarra Valley tasting plate – a selected local cheese, house-made paté or terrine with relish, roasted olives and freshly baked bread

Orange dusted prawns with green pea, Persian feta, preserved lemon salad and orange dressing GF, PDF   Roasted baby and golden beetroot, Spanish onion, Roasted chestnuts, Holy Goat ash pyramid and chilli balsamic glaze  V, GF

 

Main Courses

Hiramasa kingfish with crab and celeriac rémoulade, gazpacho drizzle GF, DF

Slow-roasted lamb shoulder with eggplant puree and tomato, sumac and coriander salad GF, DF

Baby cauliflower “Polonaise”: milk-braised cauliflower, egg, pistachio brioche crumble, fried capers, Dijonnaise dressing V

 

Dessert sampler (served as an individual plate for each guest) - a selection of Kellybrook's favourite desserts: Kennedy and Wilson chocolate hazelnut caramel slice; mini pavlova with strawberry cream and sparkling wine jelly; roasted pear with spiced brulee cream.

Special dietary requirements - most dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notice


The restaurant is open for group bookings from Friday to Sunday. We can open on Wednesdays or Thursdays by arrngnement. We do not open on Monday or Tuesdays at all. To book the restaurant exclusively at regular opening times, we have a minimum spend amount depending on the day/month of booking etc (please enquire for specific details). Regular times of opening are Friday and Saturday for dinner, and Friday to Sunday for lunch. For a function outside our normal opening hours, we require a minimum of 30-40 adult guests to open (this does not guarantee exclusivity, however). We do not open on public holidays.

We are fully licensed. Our beverage list includes the extensive range of Kellybrook wines, Kellybrook and Kelly Brothers ciders, beers, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks. We do not allow BYO wine or other beverages. We provide table service for drinks. We do have drinks packages available or drinks may be ordered from the winelist and paid for at the end of the function. We do not split table bills for drinks or meals. We are, however, happy to provide a food bill separate to the drinks bills.
 
Finalising Arrangements & Payment
  • A deposit of $50 - 500.00 (depending on the booking size) is required to hold the booking. We can hold a tentative booking for fourteen days.
  • Final numbers are to be notified seven days before hand, wherever possible (we are aware that the organiser's task is not always easy).
  • Please keep us advised if there are any late changes! It is important to have the restaurant set accordingly as well as to allow appropriate staffing levels.
  • Payment for private functions is to be made 2 days prior to the function. Otherwise, payment can be made on the day/night on the basis of agreed final numbers.
