Minimum spends apply. October to April - Saturday nights and any function from Dec 1 - 24 $6,000; Friday night/Saturday lunch/Sunday night $4,500. Minimum spends for May-Sept available on request. We do not take bookings for private functions for Sunday lunch. A time extension of up to one hour is possible - $16.00 per person per hour.
A booking deposit of $500.00 is required. Menu and approximate numbers are to be confirmed ten days beforehand. Final numbers to be confirmed and full payment made two days prior to the function. Internet transfer (BSB 303 111 A/C 0234171), cash, bank cheque or credit card.
 
 
Guests to leave restaurant within 15 minutes of conclusion of function.

The Kelly family has been catering for group functions for over 20 years and pride themselves on fine food, imaginatively prepared, and excellent Yarra Valley wines and ciders. All the wines and ciders are grown and made on the estate. The restaurant has a beautiful garden setting and vineyard views.We cater for birthdays, engagement parties, wedding anniversaries, Christenings, social clubs, reunions, corporate functions and more. SEATED FUNCTIONS Capacity up to 90 people.

2 course menu - $46.00   Entree and main course OR main course and dessert (choice of three for entree and main course, dessert is a sampler plate). The entire group must have the same two courses.

3 course menu - $54.00   Choice of three for entree and main course, dessert tasting plate for each person

Local zucchini flowers filled with holy goat fromage frais, green olive, cherry tomato, currant and pinenut salsa

 

Twice-cooked pork belly, French baby radish, pink lady apple, cauliflower cream and Kellybrook apple cider glaze

 

Grilled scallops, prawn  and cod brandade, green pea cream, and house made lemon dill crispbread

Zucchini herb papperdelle, sicillian green olives, slow roasted tomato, ricotta crumble and crisp zucchini petals

 

Crispy skinned kingfish, seafood marinier, white bean and vegetable ratatouille with pistou broth

 

Slow braised lamb shoulder, spicy eggplant relish, tomato pommegranite and

soft herb salad

SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS – Some dishes are marked vegetarian (V), dairy-free (DF) and gluten-free (GF). Several other dishes can be altered to be made gluten-free or dairy-free and to suit some other dietary requirements. Please advise us of any dietary requirements that need to be catered for (one week prior to the function).

The restaurant is open for group bookings from Friday to Sunday. We can open on Wednesdays or Thursdays by arrangnement. We do not open on Monday or Tuesdays at all. To book the restaurant exclusively at regular opening times, we have a minimum spend amount depending on the day/month of booking etc (please enquire for specific details). Regular times of opening are Friday and Saturday for dinner, and Friday to Sunday for lunch. For a function outside our normal opening hours, we require a minimum of 30-40 adult guests to open (this does not guarantee exclusivity, however). We do not open on public holidays.

We are fully licensed. Our beverage list includes the extensive range of Kellybrook wines, Kellybrook and Kelly Brothers ciders, beers, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks. We do not allow BYO wine or other beverages. We provide table service for drinks. We do have drinks packages available or drinks may be ordered from the winelist and paid for at the end of the function. We do not split table bills for drinks or meals. We are, however, happy to provide a food bill separate to the drinks bills.
 
Finalising Arrangements & Payment

A deposit of $50 - 500.00 (depending on the booking size) is required to hold the booking. We can hold a tentative booking for fourteen days.
  • Final numbers are to be notified seven days before hand, wherever possible (we are aware that the organiser's task is not always easy).
  • Please keep us advised by phone if there are any late changes! It is important to have the restaurant set accordingly as well as to allow appropriate staffing levels.
  • Payment for private functions is to be made 2 days prior to the function. Otherwise, payment can be made on the day/night on the basis of agreed final numbers.
